Instagram: Bringing You Back Alley Treasures Since 2020

Hi. I’ve missed having fun stuff to share with you when everything feels heavy.

Including me.

But today something fun happened that made me laugh and I want to share it with you.

I’m surprised my best friend sent this- he’s a little more on the reserved side. Sometimes I wonder how our friendship has lasted this long because I am, hands down, the much more crass one.

This is not a surprise to anyone who knows me. I’m sure YOU aren’t surprised, either.

…wait. HOW DID HE EVEN COME ACROSS THIS ON INSTAGRAM IN THE FIRST PLACE?! I feel like John and I are about to have a very personal, nonjudgemental conversation.

But I was serious about it looking EXACTLY like the vibrator my friend/co-worker, Jordan, found in one of the donation boxes when we worked at Goodwill.

I’m still thankful to this day he’s the one who touched it. All I did was stand in the backroom in shock and amazement. And amusement.

FYI, the batteries were still in it. And they were VERY corroded. Someone got their money’s worth, that’s for certain.

I’m sad to say Jordan had forgotten this life milestone we shared until I sent him my screenshot 20 minutes ago.

Btw, he and I hardly ever talk, so I’m sure an eyebrow (or two) was raised when he saw the picture. You have to admit, a picture of a sad, lonely vibrator is a great way to break the ice.

More posts to come.
